Going back to basic
Finding joy in everyday tasks, something I couldn't imagine a year ago. I really hated doing those things. Laundry, dishes, cleaning and taking care of everybody all day long. At least that was how it felt.
This all changed after the cancer diagnosis. It is really strange how, literally, your world gets turned upside down. All because of a confrontation with death. The first thing that goes through your mind when you hear the word 'cancer' is death.
o be honest we hadlike doing the laundry or dishes. Slowing your pace and being happier, is about doing the things with attention instead of doing them with an automatic pilot
